1. Purpose
Free Your Body is committed to promoting safe, accessible, and high-quality healthcare by connecting individuals with qualified healthcare professionals through a trusted digital platform. This policy establishes the standards and procedures for the verification, governance, and ongoing oversight of healthcare professionals who advertise, accept bookings, or provide telehealth and/or face-to-face services through Free Your Body.
The purpose of this policy is to:
• Protect the safety and wellbeing of service users;
• Promote public confidence in the platform;
• Ensure that practitioners meet appropriate professional standards;
• Support ethical and accountable practice;
• Establish clear governance procedures for participation in the platform.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all healthcare professionals, organisations, and healthcare-related service providers seeking to advertise services, manage appointments, or deliver consultations through Free Your Body.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Physiotherapists;
• Medical practitioners;
• Nurses and midwives;
• Occupational therapists;
• Dietitians;
• Speech and language therapists;
• Social workers;
• Psychologists;
• Counsellors and psychotherapists;
• Exercise and health promotion professionals;
• Other allied health and wellbeing practitioners.

3. Guiding Principles
Free Your Body will operate in accordance with the following principles:

• Professional Accountability: Practitioners are responsible for maintaining professional standards and competence.
• Transparency: Verification processes and governance procedures will be clear and consistently applied.

4. Professional Verification Requirements
All practitioners must successfully complete the Free Your Body verification process before being approved to advertise or provide services through the platform.
4.1 Professional Application
Applicants must submit:
• Full legal name;
• Professional title and discipline;
• Current practice address(es);
• Contact details;
• Professional biography;
• Qualifications and training history;
• Details of services offered;
• Consultation modalities available (telehealth and/or face-to-face);
• Professional website or social media details (where applicable).

4.2 Professional Registration Verification
Where statutory regulation exists, practitioners must provide evidence of current registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
Verification procedures may include:
• Confirmation of registration numbers through publicly accessible registers;
• Verification that registration status is active and unrestricted;
• Documentation of registration renewal dates.
For professions that are not statutorily regulated, evidence of membership or accreditation with recognised professional bodies may be requested.

4.3 Identity Verification
Applicants shall provide:

4.4 Professional Indemnity Insurance

Practitioners are responsible for complying with safeguarding requirements applicable to their profession and jurisdiction.

5. Conditions of Participation
Approved practitioners shall agree to:
• Practise only within their professional scope of competence;
• Maintain valid registration, accreditation, and insurance where applicable;
• Adhere to applicable professional codes of conduct;
• Comply with relevant legislation, including data protection requirements;
• Deliver telehealth services using secure and appropriate technologies;
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on their professional profiles;
• Notify Free Your Body promptly of any circumstances affecting their professional standing;
• Cooperate with investigations relating to complaints or governance concerns.

6. Verification Status
Practitioners who satisfy all verification requirements may be granted Free Your Body Verified Professional Status.
Verification status confirms that specified documentation has been reviewed by Free Your Body.
Verification does not:
• Constitute an endorsement of clinical competence;
• Guarantee treatment outcomes; or
• Transfer professional responsibility from the practitioner to Free Your Body.
Free Your Body reserves the right to revoke verification status where practitioners fail to maintain required standards.

7. Ongoing Monitoring and Re-Verification
Verification shall be maintained through ongoing monitoring processes.
Free Your Body may:
• Conduct annual re-verification of registrations and insurance documentation;
• Request updated documentation where necessary;
• Undertake periodic audits of practitioner records;
• Suspend practitioner listings where required information is not maintained.
Practitioners are responsible for ensuring that documentation remains current.

8. Service Delivery Standards
Healthcare professionals using the platform shall ensure that services are delivered in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Practitioners shall:
• Clearly identify whether consultations are telehealth or face-to-face;
• Obtain informed consent where required;
• Maintain appropriate clinical records;
• Protect client confidentiality and privacy;
• Ensure the safe and secure provision of telehealth services.

9. Complaints and Concerns Management
Free Your Body is committed to responding appropriately to concerns relating to practitioner conduct or service quality.
Where concerns are raised:
1. The concern shall be acknowledged and documented.

3. The practitioner shall be afforded an opportunity to respond.
